We are pleased to announce that we are once again working with AZG, Artsen Zonder Grenzen (Doctors Without Borders) Netherlands! Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organisation that contributes to a world where all those affected by natural disasters, disease outbreaks or conflicts receive the care they need.
First, we decide together with the customer what kind of material we are going to use for the desired textile items. Customers have the option to choose between 100% organic cotton, 40% or 100% recycled cotton. After this has been determined and based on the artwork received, our designer gets to work and incorporates all our customer’s wishes into a stylesheet. We then send it to our customer and wait for their approval.
After approval of the design, we get to work! Our products are printed at our partner Drukte van Belang. This sustainable printing company prints our products with water-based ink, which is less harmful to the environment. This technology fits in perfectly with our vision to make the world more sustainable with our “essentials” products!
And last but not least, our packaging process. All our orders are packaged plastic-free. For this we use cardboard boxes made of FSC materials, meaning that they come from forests that are managed to the highest environmental, social and economic standards.
We provide these boxes with our logo in a sustainable way by means of a water-based ink stamp. Finally, the textile items are wrapped in recycled wrapping paper and sealed with our recyclable tape. After this, the plastic-free packages are ready to go!
